China's Perfect World Education reached an agreement with Russia's Atlant Limited Liability in Beijing on Monday to establish a program to develop Russian art talents.
According to the framework of the Russian Art Talent Development Program, Perfect World Education will work with Atlant, which boasts rich experience in R&D and the operation of art and language courses, and five other Russian institutions such as the Siberian State Institute of Arts, Repin Academic Institute of Fine Arts and The Surikov Art Institute in Moscow to jointly establish the Sino-Russian Art Institute.
The new school will consist of different centers focusing on preparation and continuing education courses, China art research and China cultural education.
The launch of the program also marked the start of Perfect World Education's "Belt and Road" Digital Creativity and Art Talent Joint Development Program.
According to Xiao Hong, vice chairman of Perfect World Investment & Holding Group, the partnership with Atlant and renowned Russian art academies is an exploration into the international education industry under China's Belt and Road Initiative.
There are rich resources in talent development that can be harnessed for China and Belt and Road countries, Xiao said. Perfect World Education will seek more such cooperation opportunities to enrich the "Belt and Road" Digital Creativity and Art Talent Joint Development Program, he added.
The program includes three stages. In the first stage, Perfect World Education and Belt and Road partners will build it into a flagship program that includes the Russian Art Talent Development Program and an E-sports Talent Development Program in Thailand.
For the second step, they will build a multi-layered and all-encompassing system for talent development in Belt and Road countries.
Third, they will establish a Belt and Road Industry-Education Alliance to promote talent cultivation and develop a mutually beneficial ecosystem for digital creativity and art talent development.
